I was browsing a favorite camera review site when I saw this article from the San Francisco Chronicle: Sure, it's ultimately about how good the food tastes, not how good it looks in a picture, but still...it wouldn't have hurt to put a little more effort into shots of their own delicacies.

Wow. that first picture in particular (the one with beans and eggs) would make me run in the other direction.

Yeah, that one's fairly gruesome - the dish itself, never mind the picture. Not sure how much a good photographer would have helped on that one. Looks like it was prepared by someone on the run - from the food inspector!
