This is very very easy to make and the kids love it. In fact - the kids love it a little
too much, so I only make it on special occasions.

Cherry Mallow Cake
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix, plus the ingredients the cake mix calls for
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Spray 13x9x2 inch baking pan with non stick vegetable cooking spray. Place marshmallows evenly over the bottom of the pan.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Prepare cake mix according to the package directions. Pour the cake batter over the marshmallows. Then spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the cake batter.
Bake for 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F. Top of cake will be bubbly and marshmallows will be sticky. Let cool before serving.
Makes 15 servings (or a lot fewer than that if you have hungry teenaged boys around).
