I need to get a hold of a copy of ToA again, to see if there is anything I want to add to Stevie's dissection. I'm thinking there's some things I want to comment regarding the tale of the arm ring. But I need to reread the chapter first. |

Absolutely right Menolly! I think that Tenar was overwhelmed by the thought of Havnor, and Ged recognised that she needed healing, silence and a chance to live quietly - and decided that his home was ideal. The way it was described in that last chapter is a major reason why LeGuin is such an awesome writer! Tenar needed time to heal. |
