So, yeah... Sorry everyone. Between getting married, looking at houses for sale for sale (began the buiying process on one YESTERDAY), and all the usual stuff (work; a gaggle of kids, most of whom are diagnosed with one mental and/or emotional contidion)... Well, just damned crazy busy. I haven't even posted in most of the chapters that have been done.

I'll try to get it this weekend. I actually have to find my book again. Can't be far, but... I'm largely child-free this weekend, and we're no longer looking for houses, so it's just barely possible!

Yes, in fact, I do recognize my own patheticness. If an apology would be anything but pitiful, I'd offer one.

I just got back from S.C. a couple hours ago. Great vacation; followed by a two-day drive through hell. My point is, it's over. I'll try very hard to get a copy tomorrow.

It was more an etiquette thing - this was Highdrake's chapter and I didn't check with him or you about doing it. But since danlo gave the go ahead (and it's been, well, over 5 months since chapter 6 :wink:

) I thought you wouldn't mind.

Thank you, Stevie! I did find the book, and reread the chapter. But I hadn't yet had it in me to do anything worth a damn, so I didn't. Moments ago, I was writing yet another email to the mortgage company, when Pam let me know about this. Sorry for punking out, folks.

So, danlo will take on chapter eight for Av?
Should we put the rest of the book up for grabs again?
