Unless you really like The Blair Witch Project and the Reanimator films (and The Bride of Frankenstien) and don't take them too seriously-don't watch this. I was morbidly curious and bored so I watched the whole thing--I usually turn off this kind of stuff right away--but it was so sick and, purposefully campy it was actually, kinda, engaging.

Haven't watched the Reanimators or Dagon, but I'd lump this one in for total gross value. The Dunwich Horror, Die, Monster Die! (based on the poem The Fungi From Yuggoth) with Boris Karloff and The Thing (At The Mountains of Madness) are much classier interpretations of H. P.'s works. (The portrait of H.P. in the Director's office (same one we have here) was worth waiting for, unfortunately the porcelain goddess wasn't! ) *****
