Just found this cool website that is sort of a dictionary of Ancient Egyptian mythology. :)


I suppose the myth I am most familiar with would be the one of Isis and Osiris. :)

But my favorite retelling of Ancient Egyptian mythology would be found in Roger Zelazny's wild and unique science fiction novel Creatures of Light and Darkness . 8) :lol:

I should look for it. I used to be hugely interested in mythology in general, and Egyptian mythology in particular. My favourites are probably the story of Hathor, the Eye of the Sun; Horus; and Thoth and the Book of the Dead.

I'm tattooed with a stylised rendition of the Eye of Horus. (As shown in my Edgetar.) :D
