Greetings enlightened beings,

Though my nick is fravashi my other name is Timothy Douglas.

I've just arrived here after doing a search on the name Fravashi and am curious what that name means to you?

Peacefully,

Tim

Have u read Neverness or The Broken God? The board is based on these books--Fravashi is an ancient alien race in these books--who practice myriad and multilayered philosophies... And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

Ahhh, soooo...

I see.

Nope, never read them but I must say I'm really intrigued. FYI, the source of the word Fravashi is of the ancient Zoastrian religion and in that context means something to the effect of a guardian angel or an angelic being who helps a dying soul to the next world.

I just ordered the book from one of the links here about living free in an unfree world. Sounds EXACTLY like the kind of reading I'm into.

Great work on this forum, really enjoying reading the posts.

Well, a big giant WELCOME to Fravashi!!!

Thanks for the word origin. I had no idea.

I sure hope you find topics here that interest you. Or start your own. Either way, another poster is MOST WELCOME!! ____________
Highdrake's mastery of spells and sorcery was not much greater than his pupil's, but he had clear in his mind the idea of something very much greater, the wholeness of knowledge. And that made him a mage.

well we must have you reading Neverness now, for sure! Very cool meaning, you'll see!
