There has been a lot of conversation about the price of movie concessions in the area where I live lately, due to a local person suing his local movie theater for price gauging.
Here is an explanation from a theater owner over the ridiculous prices they charge:
Now, given that I do not even know the last time I went to a movie theater which was actually somewhat clean (I particularly hate it when my shoes stick to the floor from spilled pop), I do wonder about the supposed high charges covering cleaning costs? (Well, maybe they clean this guy's theater, but it sure isn't the norm).
Anyone have anything to add about movie concessions costs in their area?
