It's got to be some sort of alternate world. I prefer earth, but anything goes really. Like those books where Hitler won, or the show Sliders. Stuff like that.

As for fantasy? I can't take too much 'fantasy' in fantasy. Sword and Sorcery, stuff like Fritz Leiber, is about all I can take. But I love the stuff.
