Trojan Man! He whose desires have been throttled,
who is independent of root,
whose pasture is emptiness-
signless and free-
his path is as unknowable
as the of birds across the heavens.

I'm sorry but I can't take any1 who uses "further up and further in" AND says "Trojan Man" at the same time seriously... Like the Paula Abdul's video 4 "Straight Up" (oops! OMG) the censors r getting VERY nervous! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

I believe that it's time to change the subject again.
Dr. Danlo, there's this sweet little old retired man who lives across the street from me. Whenever it snows he feels sorry for me because he see that no one clears out my driveway for me most of the time, and he knows I can't get out there myself to shovel most of the time because the cold air makes my lungs ache. So he gets on his little itty bitty bulldozer and comes over and clears out my driveway for me, so I can get to work. I was wondering what an appropriate gift or gesture of gratitude might be when spring comes? (besides and in addition to the thanks I always give him)? Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Nurse Tamara suggests Hyantias or Daffoldils! I suggest getting ur 3 strong boys 2 shovel the damm driveway! :tom2 And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Is he reading LOTR again instead of shoveling the driveway? He whose desires have been throttled,
who is independent of root,
whose pasture is emptiness-
signless and free-
his path is as unknowable
as the of birds across the heavens.

My ten year old and Tolkein fan is a fellow asthma sufferer, I'd rather not have him out there. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Hehehe... no snow here in TN. I need to get ahold of my LOTR books. My friends and I have a book trading system.

Ok, Dr.Danlo. Listen to this. I have 5 psycotherapists, and I'm bi-polar, manic depressant, and I go into trances and break things and don't remember anything at all.

Am I crazy?

Yea, wrong place, Turiya! On second thought, Duchess or Danlo seem the sanest of us... Further up, and further in!

Turiya, I think you're going through some of what my older son did a couple of years ago when HE was 12. He's gifted and was having problems with his peers at school (for whatever reason kids at that age like to pick on those who are a bit different). Things have gotten a lot better for him, and I think they will for you, someday, too! Hang in there, my son is living proof that things DO get better!

And Mhoram, if you think I'm sane, then you're nuts! Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

So that means that you aren't really sane at all. Just saner than the rest of us.
