It was fun. I got to hang out with other geeks. I didn't find anyone who's read Covenant, though. The only one I know who has is MsMary.

But hanging out with fellow geeks was cool. I wasn't the only one with a big vocabulary. And when I wore my "The Enemy's Gate Is Down" T-shirt, instead of the usual "What does your shirt mean?", people would come up to me, read my shirt, grin knowingly, and say, "Nice shirt."
