http://www.canada.com/technology/Spirit ... story.html I imagine this must be hitting NASA staff pretty hard. But at the same time, it's amazing to think how long Spirit has kept going on Mars. NASA expected 3 months of useful service, but got 6 years instead. Talk about an overachiever! I salute you, Spirit! You've lived up to your name, and then some. |
