judge for yourself - photoshop or monster snake?



I am suspecting photoshop for the simple reason that people have been claiming to see monsters with no proof for hundreds of years (see Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster) and have been known to often manufacture their own proof. But it would be really cool for something that mysterious and really freaking big to have been in the world undetected until this century.

I'm skeptical about the picture. Doesn't it seem rather conveniently fuzzy? I would think even the cheapest cameraphones today could produce more detailed photos. But surely a "member of a disaster team monitoring flood regions" by helicopter would have something better than a cameraphone in any case? And why just the one photo? If I were in the same situation and saw a freaking huge snake in the water from above, I'd be snapping shots like there was no tomorrow! Also, what prevented the helicopter from dropping lower to get a better view? I mean, it's a helicopter - it can HOVER, for pete's sake.

Ah, well, I'm not quite ready to dismiss the picture outright, until I know more about the circumstances under which it was taken - assuming it and the helicopter crew were actually real.

the second picture, the one in the village, actually looked super fake to me - like a black landscape fabric wall out in the water

Yeah, not that authentic looking I must say.

As I have said before, I would be delighted if there could still be large and mysterious creatures in our world.
