I downloaded a free program yesterday from the AOL down load library. It is called Ad-Aware 6.0 and was developed by a company named lavasoft. It cleanses your computer of cookies and software placed their by advertising companies while you cruise the web. When I used it, it cleaned nearly 80 items from my computer, and left all of the "normal" cookies (like my passwords to ezboard and kevins watch) alone. I like it! very easy to use, too!

Sounds like a neat program. It's amazing how much junk cookies collects over time.

My computer runs much faster now. Since this was free, I would recommend it, or something like it, to anyone.

I also downloaded a program to kill off those obnoxious popup ads. I am still getting some, but fewer. I will keep looking for a more effective (but also free) program. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Ads Gone is a good pop up ad killer. I had it for my Dell. The Apple's Safari browser has a pop up killer built in.
