Just some new news. Seekers of the Ineffable Flame (where I found most of my Zindell news) got pretty dam bushwhacked by Hometown and their site was wiped out. Unfortunately that makes us the only Zindell dedicated site on the net. I need to find a way to email David and let him know this. David tried to make his own site about 5 months ago, but that fizzled out. It's very hard to find any current news on the man-there was a rumor 4 (on said fizzled site) that he was coming out with a short story collection, but nothing's been confirmed. I did, however, run across a Harper Collins Australia author news site that will automatically email me any current Zindell publication news...

I just checked the short story links (The Dreamer's Sleep and Caverns) and they were posted on Hometown too, so they've, sadly, been wiped out too (so I had to delete that thread)...I'll try to Google them, but it doesn't look good...
