I haven't been able to find thse books locally, and after hearing so much praise, finally broke down and ordered then from Amazon today.
They had this weird link up called "Customers Who Wear Clothes" and listed things that I suppose, Zindell fans wear, perhaps like a uniform.
The things on their list:
clean underwear from Amazon's Target store
Ladybug Rain Boots from Amazon's Nordstrom store
Pet Socks from Amazon's Urban Outfitters store
Puppy Footed One Pieces for Newborns from Amazon's Old Navy store

This just kind of tickled me!

Aren't these books filled with philosophy and NONmaterialism??
At least that's the impression I got from Lord Danlo!

Now I only have to wait a month before I can read them! Winter is Coming

She's read Neverness , but can't find the Broken God...I have a secret, used bookstore source, here, so I kno what some1's getting 4 Xmas!

I haven't been able to find them anywhere around here, used or new. I ordered Neverness used from an Amazon affiliated used book store, and the others wil be new, but have to be special ordered from Amazon...but the wait will give me time to read C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy, and get started with my next Tad Williams book, so perhaps not a bad thing! Winter is Coming

Yes she does! I finally have some fam. west of the Delaware! I'm going over 2 their pad 2mrrw nite, 2 play Poker with Ken (The Gypsy) and friends! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira
