I have been hearing for years how much fun this event is:
and since the kids are old enough (and then some) for me to take off by myself for 12 or so hours, I think I might go this year if the weather cooperates.
I have heard that it is funnest if you camp out at the festival grounds, as the musicians and the campers all jam bluegrass together all night long for the three nights after hours.
But I get super grouchy if I do not get my sleep, so if I go, it would just be for the 12 hours of music, from noon 'til midnight.
And go for just one of the days, not all three.
Just wondering if anyone has been to something like this? What did you think of it? Can a mind take that many hours of live music, or does it shut down after awhile?
