Wow! Very eccelectic choices, especially 4 a 12 year old! welcome again 2 the Hangar TF! (Jamacia is right by my side! What a babe!!!) It is rare 2 find a Yanni buff! My parents lived in Portugal 4 12 years and I went 2 pre-school in Cascias: I have been 2 Evora, gorgeous city in the country btween Lisbon and Spain (Badajoz). Ur mention of Clannad is going 2 make me cauz Altan, my fav Celtic group, is in town Monday and I'm 2 broke 2 go!!! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

I'm sitting here looking out my window at all of the lovely fresh snow and listening to some Mariachi music. Reminds me of sitting in little cantinas in Colorado and Arizona, with all of the sunshine... Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

White Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson!!!!That song g is manna from GOD!!! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

John Prine - "Prime Prine"

'Sam Stone'
"There's a hole in daddy's arm, where all the money goes..."

'Please don't buriy me'
'Please don't bury me down in that cold cold ground. No, I'd rather have them cut me up & pass me all around. Throw my brain in a hurricane, the blind can have my eyes. The deaf can take both of my ears, if they don't mind the size."

Vietnam Vet, turned song writer. Some fun stuff (please don't bury me..) and some serious commentary (Sam Stone -vet comes home a morphine junky due to battle wounds).

Good stuff.

I think the Hedges stuff has put me into a new-age mellow sort of listening mood, because this week I find myself listening to:
Orient Groove
Michael Hedges -- Beyond Boundaries
Diane Arkenstone -- Jewel in the Sun
Steve Gordon -- Drum Prayer Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Just got home and rockin' out 2 Down and Out from 'And Then There Were Three" 1 of the better post-Garbriel Genesis CDs---"right btween the eyes...drinks r on me..." Well they r! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.
