Ever heard Winterlong? That is a totally beautiful song! He did it for his 1st encore when I saw him last year. His second encore was a kick-ass version of Cowgirl in the Sand...perfect 4 my desert home! He ended his full set w/a very long, very intense version of Words. The Pretenders opened 4 him and their 1st song was The Loner and their last was Needle and the Damage done. When Chrissy Hynde walked out on stage she got down on her knees and kissed it, and said I can't believe we're on the same stage w/this man! Neil also did an incredible version of Pocahantas...it was..amazing!

And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

shhhh! Shhh! Johnny? Neil? Ok
"Heart Of Gold"

I want to live,
I want to give
I've been a miner
for a heart of gold.
It's these expressions
I never give
That keep me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
Keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.

I've been to Hollywood
I've been to Redwood
I crossed the ocean
for a heart of gold
I've been in my mind,
it's such a fine line
That keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
Keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.

Keep me searching
for a heart of gold
You keep me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
I've been a miner
for a heart of gold.
