Hey Earthy.

Some U2 would sound really good today. ******************************************************

I love U2's slow stuff. One is one of my favorite songs by anyone ever. Also Running to Stand Still, Mothers of the Disappeared, With or Without You.

And yet I fell in love with them in the days of the hard-rockin' War and The Unforgettable Fire. ____________

U2 is probably my favorite rock group of all time. They have been together for so long now, and have been producing some incredibly good new songs for that entire length of time.

remember when U2 was a bunch of young punk rockers from Dublin?
I agree Duchess - they have produced a long progression of good, pertinent & moving songs.
I think my favorite U2 album is Rattle & Hum - mostly because I am a live music junkie...
What the heck - it's an album side afternoon!!!

Rattle & Hum - U2

Beatle White Album (any side will do)

Grateful Dead - Europe 72

Pink Floyd - Animals

Todd Rundgren - RA - Singrin & the Glass Guitar

An ancient BOC song-Flaming Telepaths-from Secret Treaties

Well i've opened up my veins too many times
And the poison's in my heart and in my mind
Poison's in my bloodstream
Poison's in my pride
I'm after rebellion
I'll settle for lies

Is it any wonder that my mind's on fire
Imprisoned by the thoughts of what to do
Is it any wonder that my joke's an iron
And the joke's on you

Experiments that failed too many times
Transformations that were too hard to find
Poison's in my bloodstream
Poison's in my pride
I'm after rebellion
I'll settle for lies

Yes i know the secrets of the iron and mind
They're trinity acts, a mineral fire
Yes i know the secrets of the circuitry mind
It's a flaming wonder telepath

Well i've opened up my veins too many times
And the poison's in my heart and in my mind
Poison's in my bloodstream
Poison's in my pride
I'm after rebellion
I'll settle for lies

Is it any wonder that my mind's on fire
Imprisoned by the thoughts of what to do
Is it any wonder that my joke's an iron
And the joke's on you *****

Hmmm. The last few days have been the most beautiful autumn days you could ever imagine. Does the jukebox have anything to go with the fall or Halloween? ******************************************************

Lost in the Crowd-Shinedown

Should I offer up my hand
And save a wish for once
For all of us
And should I offer up my hand
And lay the guilt on myself
So it's easier , to not stay, to not stay

[Chorus]
Because I found you in your corner
I pulled you out of the clouds
You left in such a hurry
Your face got lost in the crowd

Should I open up my eye's or just ignore who you are
And what you could have been
And should I open up my eye's and make believe you will change
So it's easier to not stay, to not stay

[Chorus Out]

Better Version-Shinedown

Excuse the mess, I didn't see you from behind
I caught a glimpse, but the reflection's only mine
It's almost like I'm paralyzed and locked outside myself
What I don't need is to concede because I won't be someone else
I am not perfect and I don't claim to be
And if that's what you wanted
Well then I'm so sorry

How about a better version of, the way that I am
How about a better version that, makes me understand
How about a better version of, the way that I am
The way I look, The way I speak,
How about a better version of me

Excuse the wall, I put it up from time to time
A silver shade, and the design is all mine
It's just a maze that everyday I seem to be stuck in
It never seems to fade away but I pray for the day it ends

I am not perfect and I don't claim to be
And if that's what you wanted
Well then I'm so sorry

[CHORUS]

Show me my vital signs until I'm realigned

[CHORUS]
*****
Before, you are wise; after, you are wise. In between you are otherwise.

heh. With the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics both quickly approaching - do you have any "winter" songs or sports songs? ******************************************************
