What do you think? - after all that Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz have said/admitted, looks like ol` Saddam ackshully destroyed the WMDs, just like he said he did.

But we didn`t believe him and now, 10,000 Iraqi dead later, Bush and Blair are shrugging off the WMDs as a side issue!

Angry? I have not yet begun to be angry..... If you create a thing, its opposite is also created.

yeah .. i'm with you on this craw (sp?) .. Its a conundrum thats for sure

and it is right .. they arent done searching .. but thats not really the point is it?

the arguements used to justify the invasion of Iraq have not justified unprecedented unilateral action and it will severely affect the US chances of initiating a similar action following these shameful and embarrassing revelations.

and so should it .. Actions of this nature should not be supportable .. unless absolute right is on one's side .. and this doesnt seem to have been the case .. not even in this very unique circumstance. 'Smoke me a kipper .. I'll be back for breakfast!

Liars! They'r all bloody liars! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

Oh yes, I agree. I just don't think that that was the case here. Further up, and further in!

A case of bad intelligence regarding a major operation that was a good cause and turned out alright nonetheless. Further up, and further in!

or twas a case of doctored (sp?) intelligence .. and isnt it odd that there were concerns regarding the intelligence of that intelligence from square one!?

and numerous requests for the intelligence to be forwarded for scrutiny ..

oh well .. i guess it was just one of those things

Oh I agree..something of that magnitude required better intelligence. Further up, and further in!

This isn't my quote but:

i couldnt disagree more!

this intelligence was used by the Bush administration to justify an action .. that was unprecedented .. and has set a volatile precedent for future aggressions and interventions.

It was imperative that this claim of wmd's is verified ..

having said that .. the Bush adminstration is content to brush this matter under the mat .. and hail the good that inevitably came from the expulsion of Hussein ..

No one can argue with that .. but the military action .. had to be soundly based .. or it is yet another example of western imperialism ..

This can not be tolerated imho .. and the current call for scrutiny of the
Bush administrations motivations must be called into question.

I watched recently coverage by the BBC news of the present situation in Iraq .. and by far the majority of those subject to the coverage .. stated that things were indeed bad under Hussein but not as bad as things are now under the present non-regime ..

i guess it will take time .. but Iraqi's are still suffering .. and coalition members are still the target of attacks ..

its a long way from being resolved in Iraq .. and much too soon to be licking our chops!! imho .. 'Smoke me a kipper .. I'll be back for breakfast!
