Gulf Oil disaster

well, they have found oil on the Texas beaches now, so every US state which touches the Gulf of Mexico now has been officially impacted

Just saw on washingtonpost.com that they've seen oil in Lake Pontchartrain. As if New Orleans needs any more disasters.

Relief wells still on track, but not til August sometime. Us has accepted international help (finally).

One of the relief wells might be done by late this month, according to a story I saw in the paper this morning. But nobody is holding their breath -- imagine that! :lol:

Smart of them if they planned it...under-promise, over-deliver.

Now it looks like tropical storm Bonnie might be headed into the Gulf, right at the huge oil slick.
