Yup. And it's caused quite a dustup here in our nation's capital. The Secret Service agents who let the couple through the checkpoint have been placed on leave.

There was a story earlier this week, tho, about how these folks aren't the first to get through security to get that close to the President. Basically, unless you hermetically seal the guy, somebody unauthorized will eventually be able to get through....
