I wanted to put in a good word for this group. They raise donated goods for children's hospitals in many different countries. Click on a hospital on the map and it takes you right to the Amazon wish list set up by that hospital so you can send the requested/needed item directly to the hospital via Amazon. Many of the items are low cost - for example, the Children's Hospital of Michigan has many many inexpensive DVD's on their list. You know the item is brand new, can be replaced by the hospital if defective in any way, and you know it is something that they need and want. And at least for Americans, all of the tax info is there for deductions (I do not know how taxes work in other countries for charitable donations).


Sorry if any of you see this as spam - the subject of helping out sick little ones is near and dear to my heart, and I think that this is a wonderful concept.
