A nice new political-type forum, practically unused, for me to play in.

Well folks, as you might have noticed, danlo sneakily made me a co-mod of this forum, so I'll do my best.

Please note that the usual rules apply when we start posting here, no personal insults, and show everybody a measure of respect. Everybody has a right to an opinion, and opinions are what we want here.

Oh, and links are good when quoting a source.

Keep those few basics in mind, and pretty much anything else goes.

I hope you all have a good time here, now, let's see what we can do with this place.

Let's get him! (we tend to be a bit nicer, on the whole, than the Tank ) *****

Ha! The 'Tank is very nice for such an active and widely diverse forum.

We'll see what kind of a warzone this place is in a year or two...

Thanks Danlo. I saw the banner of course, but I missed the post here.

Did you test the new background? Or doesn't it look good?

Glad you like it MsMary.

I'm gonna work on some new buttons and icons next. And adjust the background so there isn't such a big gap at the top. (I thought it needed room for the banner, but it doesn't.

Maybe make a bigger banner too...

(Danlo has unleashed a monster... )

That's funny. This background is tiling, but I know the picture is the same size as the other one was.

Thanks for changing it back danlo. Odd. I wonder if photobucket resized the pic...I vaguely remember seeing something about 800X600 images...will check it out and host somewhere else if necessary, or make the buttons white to match.

Hey, I have a question. If I disagree strongly with Avatar here, where would you move the thread to?
