The guys were busy yesterday (Calibaby was doing snow removal - we had a little storm Friday night), and Mr. Sunshine was doing an overnighter at his best friend's house. Bigred and I had the house to ourselves most of the day yesterday, and we didn't get the picks in for him, and didn't have them for the other two.

Hope everyone had a joyful New Year!

I'll have to ask them, but I'm sure that the guys would have fun with the playoffs.

early results:
Clearly in the playoffs, with a home game, clearly in control 27 Atl 13. 28 NE 26 Flutie drop kicks an EP, hilarious ! Jets 30 Bills 26. are in the playoffs too, but prob start at NE , 35 Det 21. By winning Pittz destroys any hope for KC who put a serious whupping on Cin 37-3 (even though the game was fairly meaningless to Cin...), Dick Vermiel retires (no DON'T! Replace Marty in SD NOW!). Alexander wins the rushing title, but Sea doesn't seem to care that GB won 23-17. Cleve beats Balt 20-16. Indy, somehow squeaks 17 AZ 13. Carolina generates more O in one day than it has in, almost, the last month 44 Atl 11 and they make the playoffs!

So the playoff teams are all set except for Washington and Dallas: if Wash wins they're in, if they both lose Skins are in, if Wash loses and Dall wins-the Cowboys are in...

early standings:
Damelon 7-4
diamondraught 6-5
danlo 5-6
clear 5-6
Earth 5-6 *****

afternoon results:
Hou takes into OT and wins the Reggie Bush sweepstakes by losing 20-17. Garrard and Jax thump Tenn 40-13. Vikes slam da Bears 34-10. And finally: YEA!!! Skinz grad the final playoff spot--so long Cowboys! 31 Phi 20.

afternoon standings:
Damelon 10-5
diamond 10-5
clear 9-6
danlo 8-7
Earthy 7-8

I think we all picked Dallas so I'd better PM dd asap to post a tiebreak score.... *****

late result:
Bledsoe intercepted in a key comeback drive. St. L. 20 Dall 10. Yes the final week can be the weirdest, but as far as how tough this week, truly, was to pick I, for one, am glad the regular season is finally over.

final standings:
Damelon 10-6
diamond 10-6
clear 9-7
danlo 8-8
Earthy 7-9

Thanks for playing everyone! It looks like Damelon has secured Comeback Player of the year and dd has secured the most wins. Cali best winning % and kins and clear tied for most weeks won. We have no rookies this year, so...I vote dd as MVP (over-all Champ), but perhaps we should put up a poll?
