The New Mexico Sandgorgons are set to take it all this year! From 3rd place to 2nd place...to "infinity and beyond!". We just got our full 10 teams, two of which are jelerak's (Leviathan) buddies with league experience. We also have, again, Kins (last year's champ and league commish), clear, dAN, Damelon, Brinn and Cyberwheez.

Or draft is extremely early this year-Aug 6th and while I've been studying my USA Today Fantasy Guide '06 like mad-who knows what preseason will bring. *****

The year's version of the New Mexico Sandgorgons is very strange indeed. I'm very happy with my QB Jake Delhomme (Car), TE Antonio Gates (SD) and D Pittsburg. However I am taking chances on WR Javon Walker (Den) and RB Reggie Bush (NO). I have Edgerin James (AZ) at RB too with Thomas Jones (Chi) and Dominic Rhodes (Ind) backing him up. I don't really have any #1 receivers though it is possible that Walker could outduel Rod Smith. I have Reggie Wayne (Ind) and Keyshawn Johnson (Car) starting too--I think it may be Wayne's year to lead Harrison in TDs and Johnson can easily pick up most of Steve Smith's double team outlets. Ernest Wilford (Jac) (who could have a great year with Jimmy Smith out of football) and Amani Toomer (NYG) round out the receivers. Also have the very hot prospect of Vernon Davis (SF) at TE as well. Josh Brown (Sea) is my kicker-meh he's ok (gets alot of PATs thanks to Shawn).

And finally the interchangable creaky old two-headed QB backup of Warner (AZ)/McNair. Warner has a pretty easy first 5 games and McNair should blossom in Balt reuniting with Derrick Mason, his favorite target, Clayton's not bad either. That's hoping one, or both don't go out with injuries--or if they do it's not at the same time.
