Looks like the Red Wings are again the team to beat.

I have my Sabres trying to do thier best to impress the new owner - so far, pretty inconsistent, but the are showing some promise. A nice 5-2 win over the Caps last night with my favorite player SATAN back in the line up, scoring 2 goals!!! Cripple but free; I was blind all the time I was learning to see<i></i>

Man, I had 2 do a little research 2 figure out what's been going on with the Avalance. Since the season began I couldn't figure out where my man, Peter Forsberg has been. Apparently he and another top player, Paul Kariya have been injured all season, so far...

In place of them we got some really good player named Steve Konowalchuk from Washington who's been tearing it up! And Aebischer, who's filling the shoes of Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roi. is doing damm good with a 2.20 GPA arv. AND we're in 1st place! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! *****

My Sabres beat the hapless Phlyers the other night after blowing a 2 goal lead on Boston the night before.

Our goal tending has been so inconsistent, plus McKee's been out which does not help our D, but we have been scoring some goals. Still can't get out of the basement tho....

BTW, was it just me or does Boston have all Giants on their team?!?!?! Cripes - they must have 3 or 4 guys over 6'-7"!!

The Avs kicked butt against the Wings the other night in Detroit--then our nemesis-Vancover came to town and shut us out 1-0 Abescier is still a danmm goal goalie though and we're still clinging to first place. Wings won last night and Earthy's Sabres are turning it on! Satan had 4 goals last night!!! *****

After a nice little unbeaten streak, my Sabres run into the brick wall otherwise known as the NJ Devils & get their A**es kicked 8-2 . Playoff hopes are rapidly escaping us, first time in team history we dont make the playoffs 3 years in a row . Next year will probly be a lockout , so here's to the 2005-2006 season!!!!

Well, my Wings made it out of the first round this year -- a major improvement over last year.

Still waiting to see who they will play in round 2, though...
