Pick the playoff winners for Wildcard Weekend, Divisionals, League Championship and the Super Bowl. And, most importantly, predict the scores of those games. Not only does your record count but the LEAST number of negative points you accumulate counts as well. example: Colts 44 Chargers 40-if you predicted Colts 38 Chargers 35 you would be 1-0 but also -12 (look at the '08 Playoff/SB thread to see how the scoring goes). You can erase your negative numbers like this: exact score: +20 total points: +15 closest pick of the week: +10 Wildcard Weekend If this schedule looks familiar, it is, this is not only the first time 2 teams from the final regular season games have met, but the first time 3 faceoff. AFC byes: Indianapolis, San Diego. NFC byes: New Orleans, Minnesota. Saturday, Jan 9th afternoon New York J at Cincinnati late Philadelphia at Dallas Sunday, Jan 10th early Baltimore at New England afternoon Green Bay at Arizona |

Wildcard Weekend Saturday, Jan 9th afternoon New York J at Cincinnati 24-17 (41 total points) late Philadelphia at Dallas 24-17 (41 total points) Sunday, Jan 10th early Baltimore at New England 24-17 (41 total points) afternoon Green Bay at Arizona 24-17 (41 total points) Looks like I'm pulling for all away teams... ...and my standard score holds. I know that will bite me in the tush. I'm sticking with it anyway. |

Wildcard Weekend results: You probably know all this by now, so I'll try to be short... Shonn Greene 135 rush yd 1 TD, TE Dustin Keller 99 rec yd 1 TD J-E-T-S 24 Cincinnati 14. Cowboys win the hat-trick over Philly 34-14 D looks sharp. Tony Romo 244 pass yd 2 TDs, Felix Jones 148 rush yd 1 TD. Ravens jump all over New England from the get go 33-14. Ray Rice runs wild 159 yd 2 TDs, D intercepts Brady 3 times and makes him fumble. Yeah these were, pretty much, blowouts, but the last game was a doozy as the Cardinals clip Green Bay in OT 51-45. Karlos Dansby took a Aaron Rodgers fumble 17 yards into the endzone for the winner. You thinks that's a lot of points, check this out: 60 combined 1st downs, 1024 combined yds, almost 800 of it in the air. Kurt Warner 379 pass yds 5 TDs having one more TD than incompletions (Rodgers 422 4 TDs, btw), Steve Breaston 125 rec yd 1 TD, Larry Fitzgerald 88 rec yd 2 TD. And, yes, it was the highest scoring game in playoffs history. current standings: Earthblood 3-1 -82 danlo 3-1 -92 cali 2-2 -39 Endy 2-2 -63 Menolly 2-2 -71 psytech 2-2-73 Cleburne 2-2 -82 Mr. S 2-2 -82 tj 1-3 -45 +10 (missed Dallas total by 1 point!): -35 Bigred 1-3 -72 |
