The Wings are doing well right now. They are on top of the central division, as well as the NHL in point standings.

Hasik seems to finally be getting his act together, after some really rough games earlier this season.

I actually hope another team wins the President's Cup, though - that trophy seems to be a curse to the Wings. Whenever they win it, they usually get bounced out of the playoffs really early.

Well, Wings won the President's Trophy last night. That thing is a kiss of death for us. When ever we win it, it seems like we get quickly bounced out in the first round of the playoffs.

Wings have won their first two playoff games now.

And the Wings blow a third period lead to a hard working Nashville team to drop their third playoff game. They still lead the series 2-1.

well, Wings are now up 3-2 in their series; they had to bench the Dominator - he was having concentration lapses and letting in flurries of goals!

For the second round we get to play our greatest rivals of the last twenty years - the Colorado Avalanche.

Man, there should ge some great and gritty hockey in this series. Two good teams, going at it hammer and tongs.

As a bonus, the Wings won the first game. Beating the Avs in a playoff game is sweeter than a slice of cherry cheesecake.
