I can fully understand both of those things.
I should add that Bonds is
not be indicted because of doing illegal drugs or for cheating. He is being indicted for being stupid enough to allegedly lie his head off to a federal grand jury. The feds never take that sort of thing well. They put a world of hurt onto people who try to do that sort of thing. And unlike Scooter Libby, I doubt that Bonds has a POTUS in his back pocket to commute any sentences if he is found guilty.
It's a start, though.
I hope this means that baseball will grow a pair and will actually start going after some of these steroid users and cheaters - especially Bonds and Big Mac. I know at least two Tigers would probably go down - Pudge and Sheffield. But that is OK. I do
not want cheaters on
my team. If they did do drugs, throw 'em out of baseball and take away their records, pensions, and chance to go to the Hall of Fame.
