The Heisman candidates are dropping like flies! First Bradford, now Tebow.

I just hope to God that the coaching staff of Florida actually puts the well being of the player first, and lets Tebow have the time off he needs to heal. Concussions can really screw people up for a very long time! And the long term health of the kid is more important than any possible national titles - especially since the team is so loaded with talent they will probably win most of their games without him anyway.

Well, my PSU Nittany Lions had a miserable showing on Sat night - Iowa lines totally dominated....

Iowa seems to be Penn State's curse. Then again, Penn State needed to find a strong rivalry within the Big 10 - perhaps this might become one!

And yeah, the Tebow hit looked scarey!

man, PSU dropped to 15 in the rankings...playing Illinois this week, they should be able to handle the Illini - GO LIONS!!

PSU starts the real season this weekend v Minnesota, which should not be a tough test - next week is where it really gets tough

Since my Lobos are 0-6 and the head coach is suspended this weekend for punching the WR coach-I a. seriously want him fired and b. could care less about college football this year...

Paterno has always been a class act, he can be a tough old SOB when he wants to, but with the players he always earned thier respect and admiration for maintaining the highest acedemic & desciplinary standards. They've had thier moments, but overall a class act & organization.

Gotta win out this season & root for Iowa to loose for any hopes of Big 10 champ or hopes for a shot at nat champ (not likely)

My high school team advances in the local playoffs & the Sabres win 2 down in the sunshine state!!

Even the Steelers won, so my wife was happy - would have been a perfect sports weekend if Iowa wouldn't have got a last second TD to beat MSU!

I have now lost all respect I had for the Florida coach. First he starts Tebow for a few games when the kid obviously was unwell (though he sounds like is finally doing better). Now he only suspends a star player for half of a freaking game after he tried to gouge an opponent's eyes? Give me a freaking break!!!! National rankings obviously mean more to this guy than the well being of the kids playing he game.

What happened?

One of the star Florida players was caught on film/TV trying to gouge a player on the opposing team's eyes on Saturday. Needless to say, huge outcry of horror and disgust ensues. Douchebag Florida coach only suspends him for half of a game.

Contrast this with a Pac 10 player (I cannot remember if he was from Oregon or Oregon State, but he was from one of those two teams) early in the season who sucker punched a Boise State player, and has been suspended for most of the season!
