Giving Return of the Crimson Guard a quick reread before I lend it to my uncle.

Think I should reread the Chrons soon too...not that we'll get AATE for ages yet.

I'm about 18 pages away from finishing Bakker's The Thousandfold Thought and I am invested in the series, unfortunately I looked at Brinn's "The Judging Eye" thread at the Watch so have been thinking ahead too much in this fantasy world. I read chapter one of AATE when it first came up on SRD's website, of course hearing him read it two nights ago was pretty dam cool. I'll start reading chapter two on the plane to Chicago Saturday when I visit Damelon and watch the Bears/Eagles game with him. It would have to be pretty dam bad for me not to like the book as I love EVERYTHING the man writes.

Ali, probably, talked about this with Jenn, but we are REALLY going to fry Highdrake about the Last Chrons when, and if, he comes to Elohimfest next June. You better come too duchy! We seriously you missed last time!

danlo requested weekend dates for elohimfest on the Watch, Duchess. Beorn graduates June 4th, which I posted. So far, the dates offered to SRD to consider are June 11th or June 18th. Do either of those work for you?

Sorry about the razzes. Only two sons, only two graduations. And anyone who knows me knows my kids always take priority over everyone and everything else.

And unless my health hugely improves, I highly doubt I would be up to a trip of that magnitude. :shrug:

Not to mention that money will be tight with two kids in college next year. I gave up a chance at a bucket list item next month to save the money. :shrug:

How long has AATE being out in the bookshops as it was by chance i saw it on display last friday in my local book store ( Iwas looking for "The feast of crows" when I saw SRD new book looking at me waiting to be purchased lol
About 3 chapters into it good read so far . :mrgreen:
