I found myself picking up The Prydain Chonicles for a long overdue reread this morning.
The individual books: The Book of Three The Black Cauldron The Castle of Llyr Taran Wanderer The High King The Foundling and Other Tales of Prydain
While intended for younger readers, I find this series to be delightful. It is loosely inspired by Welsh mythology and tells of story of Taran, the Assistant Pigkeeper of a magical pig named Hen Wen, and his various friends, as they battle against evil in the land of Prydain.
I have been told that the Disney movie The Black Cauldron is rather poorly based upon one or more of the books? ******************************************************
