the American cover has been released - the British cover is a heckuva lot more attractive and the American cover is really and truly fugly, but that said, it is still better than the prototype that was leaked out a while back.

They have recently announced that book 13's title will be Towers of Midnight and book 14's title will be Memories of Light. |

I'll admit that I broke down and pre-ordered it today from my book club, which had a great price.  At least the money does not go straight to Tor, as far as I know...

Heh. This thing is pretty much a guaranteed best seller, but given the economy right now, I am surprised that they are not going for a holiday period release world wide.

The book came in the mail yesterday. Looks as fat as a usual WOT book, but has larger print than usual, so who knows? I now know what I will be doing during my week off from work next week.

Kevin164 (or something) has given a brief, spoiler-free review in the thread about it's release on the Watch. Mainly Rand and Egwene, very little Matt and Perrin. Says Sanderson did a decent job, but you can usually see where it's him and not Jordan. Recommends it only if you already like the series (as much as possible anyway). --A |
