I haven't been able to get to his blog where the news was posted, but it's been posted at the Watch that Robert Jordan has died today.

After what happened with Dune, I would almost rather his wife and cousin just give us the scenes he had written out , along with the notes and outlines and transcripts of the conversations...

I would also accept it if they (or one of them) was to write out the story, as David Gemmell's wife did with his last book. Just the one book mind you, to finish the story as close as possible to what they undertood his wishes to be.

But for the love of God - no crappy prequels... :faint:

Totally agree. One book only, with as much original as possible. That'll be the best way to honour his last days.
