Finished Atwood. On to Mad Ship.

Finished Quicksilver fascinating historical fiction-1650-1720s London, all sorts of colorful characters: Rev. Wilkins, Isaac Newton, Hooke, Locke, Comstock, Wren, Liebnitz, Cromwell, Chas. the 2nd seen through the eyes of Daniel Waterhouse. I guess the rest of Stephenson's Baroque Cycle has to do with the roughly the same era seen through a number of different character's eyes. Don't know if I have the patience to slog through it all. Maybe, sometime later. I have heard great things about the last book The System of the World.

Up to pg. 200 or so in Giaman's Ananzi Boys and enjoying the hell o/o it, despite what Av says , reads like a dream-every time I think I've read 20 pages it's more like 60...

I love Ananzi Boys. It is such a fun story!

Goblet of Fire.

Goblet was a rough one for me to get thru. Especially after having read what I think of as the best of the series, Prisoner of Azkaban, that was so tightly written. Goblet has a lot of good plot advancement, but so many pages of non related stuff in between.

PoA was the best of the films. Book-wise, I've always liked Order of the Phoenix I think. (I've just started it.)

Maybe I'll reread Harry Potter next. Altho I suppose I should tackle Dust of Dreams before The Crippled God comes out in the fall....

Finished the last Liveship Traders book over the weekend. Currently reading Jasper Fforde's new one, Shades of Grey. Looks like he's planning on it being a trilogy. I'm not surprised he's moved away from writing another Thursday Next book, but I'm kind of sad about it too -- those books are hysterical.

About half-way through Deathly Hallows now.
