Ripped through about half of The Prestige today, so I can definitely say I'm enjoying it. The prose style is a bit workmanlike, but that's a minor complaint. I would dearly love to see how Blaylock or Powers (or for that matter, Sterling or Swanwick) would have handled this material (feuding 19th Century stage magicians)! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
