I have to tell you all here. Yesterday I read one of the most amazing SF short stories, St. Ailbe's Hall by Naomi Kritzer. This short story deals with religion, one might say religion is the main character of the story. In the future world this story is set in, biotechnologists have found ways to change animals in many ways. The story deals with the finding of faith by one, the rediscovery of faith by another, and a priest who finds himself lead in directions he never anticipated.

[/u]Strange Horizons[/u]. Is an online 'zine that brings short stories to the web, along with editorials and author interviews. It is a professional publication paying authors at current professional rates. www.strangehorizons.com/
Links to the story are www.strangehorizons.com/2...hall.shtml and www.strangehorizons.com/2...hall.shtml
If one prefers to find the story and you are starting at their home page, one will have to go to the fiction archive to find the story. Read it, it's really good. taraswizard
