I have read it. Well written, but almost unbelievably dark and depressing with some necessary (to the plot) but very disturbing scenes of extreme sexual abuse. I figure this year's Hugo will probably either go to this novel or Meiville's The City and the City.

I listened to this as an audiobook and was dissappointed. Thought it had great potential, but seemed like very little important stuff happened. Lots of little details that began to lose my interest.
