Gould (Jumper) lives in Albuquerque! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think we talked about him very briefly before, mainly saying not to confuse him with famous bio-evolutionist Stephen J. Gould. Imagine my surprise when I picked up Albuquerque's Weekly Alibi at a restaurant today and found out that the author of Jumper (now a major motion picture) is almost my neighbor. I think we mentioned somewhere that his book Reflex (the sequel) was nominated for a Nebula a few years back, the books are listed as young adult but can be enjoyed by all. So add him to the list of NM Sci Fi/Fantasy authors that includes Williamson, Vance, Zelazny, WJWilliams, Lindskold, GRRMartin, Willis, Donaldson, Saberhagen, Vardeman, Abraham and (for a time) GBear |
