Just to let you all know that I've been working on Chapter 24 bit by bit. There is a ton of dialogue in this chapter and all that talking covers a LOT of ground. I should have it done this weekend.

I gotta learn to take only the short chapters...

Sounds great. I have just have to catch up with both you and Danlo with the group read chapters you have already done.

Avatar has posted here and there at KW, but definitely not at the prodigious rate that we've all come to love and fear him for.

Last I heard (back in December?) he was hoping to get internet service at home.

I'm around, although not nearly as much as I want to be. I'll still be pretty sporadic until the end of April, when I'll go home and get my own connection. Until then, y'all are doing great. And if things languish a little, no big deal. We won't abandon the fight. Unfortunately I don't have my Dune here with me...but I'll be back as soon as I can be.

Thanks. Am relaxing down on the coast at my uncle's palatial home, drinking gin and tonic or red wine, and generally doing nothing. He's off to the Namib Desert to track down a nomadic tribe for materials for some artist he patronises, and needs a baby sitter for his daughter for a month.

Since the GF and I happen to both be unemployed, we leapt at the chance. He's only leaving in a month though, so until then, we're just hanging around. Then a month of baby-sitting, (she's 16 though, so not exactly onerous), then home.

I'll visit every now and then.
