We're attempting to revive interest here as the Major Hack whipped out many chapters and some great analysis by Duchess, Highdrake and others. Duchess has assumed the admirable task of trying to repeat some chapters (if you have ever been part of a Group Read you know how difficult that is) please lend her, and us a hand when you can, thanks! *****

I have been trying as time allows. It is, indeed, difficult. I will continue to try as long as there is possible interest... ******************************************************

What can I do but volunteer to do a chapter huh?

Give me a couple of days to finish the book I'm reading, and I'll do Ch.7 if you like.

The least I can do. And reading Duchess' posts made me want to reread it anyway.

Well, finished my reread. It only reinforced my opinion of the greatness of this book. And since I was reading it with an eye to the dissection, I noticed many things that made it even more enjoyable.

Will try post Ch 7 on Monday. (My Monday...your Sunday night I think.)

Good of you to help with the dissection, Avatar. I didn't know Duchess had been basically keeping this thing alive by herself! Tells you how much I come around here. Anyway, in the coming days I'll ease my own way into a Dune frame of mind...

It'll be good to have you take part.

The Chapter 7 Dissection is now up.

As is chapter 8. It gave me something to do other than missing my son. ******************************************************

Indeed. In fact, the next few chapters are all great ones. Reading them (with an eye to this of course), made me notice many things to comment on.

Oh, Duchess, If you want to do any others in the meanwhile, feel free. I'll do either 9, or whatever the next from whatever chapter you might have done by Friday, for Monday. (No need to do any more unless you want to though.)

Morning folks. I know I said I'd do chapter 9 for today, but I'm afraid I just didn't get the chance.

So apologies to everybody who was anxiously awaiting it.

Sorry, really, I'll see if I can't do it this week.

Sorry.

Uh, mea culpa folks. I've once again been too slack. Busy week last week, and lazt weekend. I'm forced to admit that once again I haven't done the next chapter.

This week though, I promise.
