Unfortunately I don't. In fact, I don't have any Clarke that I can think of off-hand, although some might be in storage.

But I did bring Dune. And my Dune encyclopedia. So...I think I owe you guys at least the next two chapters. Will have one up by the end of the week, no worries. We're Back!.

(Oh...oh...and I'll be commenting onsome of the new chapters up too...a couple of my faves there without a doubt.)

I don't think Frank Herbert (wherever he is) will mind us taking our time. Dune was his life's work; a few paltry years to do a group read is nothing.

Damn good point MM. But I've had a good break, so a little catch-up is due. Especially since you guys have been carrying the torch.

That said, I don't plan on going anywhere. We've got the time.

Av can do a couple of chapters. I requested most of my time off from work in the fall this year, so can pick up some chapters (and Rama chapters, too ) in October, November, and December when I have weeks off.

Once I do a few more chapters in Rama, I'll rejoin you guys. You can even tell me right now which upcoming Dune chapter(s) you'd like me to do and I'll get ready for them. (You know I'm a slacker - feel free to prod me.)

Right...WoE 10 up, should have Dune 28 done tomorrow...next day at the latest.
