OK. I googled for about half an hour tonight and have not been able to figure it out.

Who is the bejeweled woman with the black panther on the boat as they travel up the Nile?

Is she a goddess? I googled about Egyptian goddesses, and found a cat goddess who is associated with house cats and lions and a war goddess who is associated with lions, but nothing about any goddesses associated with leopards.

Nevermind. I answered my own question by further reading.

I would like to point out, though, that I now need to not only brush up on my Egyptian mythology - but I have to learn some other mythologies of places like ancient Nubia. <i></i>
