What is your favorite subplot of Ilium? In fact, now that I have had time to think about Ilium some more, I think that I enjoyed the robots the most (though I did truly like all three main storylines) because somehow they seemed to be the most human of all of the characters... I loved the scholics and the War. I agree, the moravecs had a feeling of humaness far greater than the "humans'. However, the Trojan War was certainly my favorite part of the story. Oddly it seemed to be the most likely to occur. I found myself constantly rooting for the mortals whenever they fought the "gods" too. <i></i> |
