It's easily worth a read if you're talking about results for time and effort. The question might be if it's worth buying in hardback... my opinion, probalby not. Unlike MS&T or even Otherland, I don't see it as a book I'd go back to again. ________________

I preferred Otherland to MS&T. I felt it was cutting edge fiction. Kept me interested. Re-read was everybit as good. Vote in the Fantasy Author Showdown

Finally got round to reading it last week - great book, loved the story and the characters, although the 'Fairy-Tale Ending' was a bit too much like a fairy-tale ending (although I guess that was the point).

I read this book a while back! I really liked it! I loved the humor in it but I did think it had a bit of a weak ending!

It looks as if my posts about how much I enjoyed this book were eaten in the hacker attack.

Anyway, I did enjoy it a great deal. I liked the characters (the little mouthy fairy was a hoot and a half! ) and the plot was interesting. Parts were very dark, reminiscent of the attacks on NYC and Washington DC on 9/11. But there were lots of amusing parts, too.
