My favorite band (Grateful Dead) has a song called 'The Wheel' - 'You can't let go & you can't hold on...and every time that wheel turns 'round, you're bound to cover just a little more ground..' What's your take on the wheel symbolization as Simon dreams about it throughout the story? |

Well, I am nearly done with the Dragonbone Chair , and I've been running into these wheel dreams. So far my theory would be that the wheel symbolizes a world out of control to Simon, one that alternately lifts him up and casts him down, but I might be totally off base! |
