I was thinking about complaints vis-a-vis the casting of LOTR and the eeeeevvvil idea came up of just how horrible the casting might have been. Herein I offer some truly twitch-worthy possibilities to make jaws drop and gorges rise, inviting others to join in the game! :angeldevil

I think I'll ask that we stick to contemporary actors, just so that everyone can appreciate the horror that is to follow. Okay?

FWIW, IMO, Kelsey Grammer as Denethor works for me. Kurt Russell as Faramir does not make me twitch. (Think Kurt Russell in Tombstone). Most others are cringe worthy as would Bruce Willis in any role at all except maybe as one of the Uruk Hai.
