I voted for Legolas, because of this scene:

Legolas: Okay, I'll just run along above the snow, while the rest of you trudge along in waist-deep snow.

(I can't remember the exact words, so I used my own.

Yeah, but Turiya, all Elves can do that. It's not unique to Legolas.

I voted for Elrond for similar reasons as Mhoram.

I think the only Elf that I can remember being described as old, and looking old, in the books is Cirdan.

I voted for Legolas, because he is the only one you get to see grow as a character. In the beginning, he and Gimli have a hard time getting around the age old barriers between elves and dwarves. But given time and exposure, they grow to become great friends, and both grow as people. Legolas is a far more dynamic character than any of the others, the only one you get to know at all.

I also hated Elrond in the movie, for all the above stated reasons. And some part of me always expects him to say
"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson." Be still heart

Hold peace

There is also love in the world.

I'm glad I'm not the only person to see "Agent Elrond"

I didn't like movie Elrond and I thought that movie Galadriel could have been a little better. Movie Legolas and Arwen were, however, very cool. I voted for Galadriel though, mostly because of her wisdom. When she joined the rebelion of the Noldor just after Morgoth and Ungoliant destroyd Telperion and Laurelin, she did so not out of any love for Feanor, but rather because she knew that she had talent and power and ability and she wished to test herself in the vastness of Middle Earth. After all she went through in the first, second and third ages, the One Ring finally came into her grasp. Here was the tool with which she could rule, just as she had desired in her youth. However by this stage she had aquired enough wisdom to reject Frodo's offer. As she says in TFoTR,"I pass the test."

Sum sui generis
